Britney Spears reveals she underwent BOTCHED Botox procedure

Britney Spears revealed that she underwent a botched Botox procedure that affected her left eye for weeks. 

The 44-year-old singer, who recently said that she ‘failed as a mother’ in a heartbreaking post, opened up about the incident in a video shared to her Instagram page on Friday. 

The Baby One More Time hitmaker could be seen filming herself while wearing a skimpy red ʙικιɴι top and a black hat on top of her blonde locks. 

Spears explained that a doctor ‘put so much Botox in this left eye that it drooped down like that.’ 

The music artist pressed her fingers around her left eye to offer her followers an example of what had happened. 

‘And it’s just now starting to raise up and be normal again. It’s so embarrᴀssing it was like that.’

The pop star then gave a warning to her fans who are considering the cosmetic injectables. 

‘Girls, you have to be so careful if you do Botox with these people and these doctors. They can really f*** your eyes up.’

She continued, ‘My eye was down like this for like, four weeks. It’s just now starting to be fine again.’

Spears once again gently pressed the skin down around her eye to show how it had drooped downwards. 

‘Be careful with these people,’ the Toxic singer added. ‘They try to change your face and they can f*** things up.’ 

The star further expressed, ‘Be careful with your bodies, because it’s yours and you own it. So, that’s it.’ 

In the caption of the Instagram reel, Spears penned to her fans: ‘You can’t trust anyone!!!’ 

Daily Mail has reached out to reps for Spears for comment, but has yet to hear back.

The star has previously offered her thoughts on the cosmetic procedure. 

Back in 2023, Spears jumped to her Instagram account to tell followers that she was ‘done with Botox.’  

At the time, the performer had explained that a recent Botox experience left her looking like she had gotten ‘beat up.’ 

The songstress said that she had black and blue bruising, and could not ‘be seen for two weeks.’ 

Also on Friday, Spears said she ‘failed as a mother’ in a heartbreaking post uploaded to X and uploaded a throwback image of her sons Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden 19, whom she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline. 

She also lashed out at her parents for spending time with her two children without her. 

The singer, who likened herself to ‘an angel,’ felt the need to confess her shortcomings after one of her sons told her he didn’t believe in God.

‘My son told me last week it was all science he didn’t personally believe in God … in that moment I believed I had failed as a mother because I know there is a Holy Spirit that sits high in the kingdom of heaven,’ adding that she has ‘been there’ and ‘felt it.’

She pressed on by saying: ‘I wanna tell my kids and people in general that I’m sorry for my mistakes in the past.’ 

The star claimed she found out five years ago that they had been ‘secretly taken to the beach’ by her now-estranged dad, Jamie Spears, and mom, Lynne Spears, without her knowledge or consent.

Spears was famously placed under court-ordered conservatorship in February 2008 after a series of public mental health crises, hospitalizations and intense media scrutiny.

She was largely controlled by her father during that time. 

But 13 years later, Spears’ conservatorship ended in November 2021 following pressure from the #FreeBritney movement and Jamie’s suspension as conservator, in addition to the pop star’s own court testimony about the abuse she suffered while under her father’s control. 

As her latest social media letter revealed, Spears is still not over the way Jamie and Lynne both pulled the wool over her eyes, as she sees it.

‘The whole summer … I look back now and I remember my dad not letting me go to a diner ever again to eat a hamburger with a new extremely cool friend I had found cuz all the attention I got from the paps after being held in my home for 4 months offended him,’ she vented.

‘The pictures I saw of my mom and dad in secret on the beach the whole summer with my children every weekend … I wondered why I wasn’t a part of their cool secret outings.

She pressed on by saying: ‘I wanna tell my kids and people in general that I’m sorry for my mistakes in the past’

‘I felt demoralized to live in a country where it was accepted for people like my mom and dad to live secret lives with my children … It was demoralizing,’ she repeated, adding: ‘I honestly went to my knees and cried for two months.’ 

Spears went on to say that ‘I never got to be me’ and that she ‘used to be unbelievably intelligent’ before she was ‘brainwashed into an ignorant system where every g*****m person took advantage of me.’

She added: ‘I firmly believe I am an angel, and it hurts. Time is in a different realm when you’re an angel … I miss the excitement in my eyes being alive when I was younger, always so eager to please and hungry for life.’

The mother-of-two admitted this all happened a long time ago, but as she’s gotten older, she’s come to understand her ‘real value as a woman.’

‘I’ve cried so much. I’m extremely weak but through weakness they say you will find the most strength cuz you surrender and give it to God.’

She finished her lengthy diatribe by saying ‘we all want a hero or someone to look up to but we’re simply just people at the end of the day,’ adding: ‘We’re all stars in my eyes cuz I’m simply mamma now.

‘I’m simply here to give perspective openly because I feel I’ve been misunderstood in my life. I want to get closer to God and my heart in its most beautiful, spiritual way and have dreams again like I did when I used to go to Mexico !!!’

The singer was arrested in the evening of March 4 near her home in Ventura County, California, after police received an anonymous call about someone ‘traveling at high speeds and swerving’ on the road.

Spears pleaded guilty to reckless driving in connection with the incident, and was sentenced to 12 months’ probation and one day of jail, credited as time served, as part of her plea deal.

She was also fined $571 and ordered to see a psychologist weekly and a psychiatrist twice a month. She checked into a rehab facility following the arrest.
