Bride defends her decision to spend $45,000 on a pre-wedding glow-up

It’s normal for brides to want to look their best at their weddings.

In fact, many take some extra steps to ensure they do, whether that’s by hitting the gym, implementing a strict diet or even getting some small cosmetic enhancements like a spray tan or Botox.

But one woman has gone above and beyond with her bridal prep, revealing to the Daily Mail that she’s expecting to spend a whopping $45,000 on her pre-wedding beauty treatments.

Jade Voight, 30, a makeup artist from New York City, explained that after her now-fiancé Ryan, 37, proposed on New Year’s Eve in 2025, she felt like her wedding would be a perfect ‘excuse’ to get some of the tweaks she’s been wanting for years.

‘I used this opportunity to do a lot of the treatments I’ve had my eye on for a while,’ she explained.

‘I probably would have done them eventually but the wedding gave me the motivation to prioritize them.

‘I think it is imperative to look and feel your best not only at your wedding but I also think it’s something everyone deserves to feel every day.’

Voight explained that as someone who works in the beauty industry, she has long viewed cosmetic enhancements as a tool to become ‘the best version of herself.’

‘When people feel beautiful, they often carry themselves differently. They smile more, stand taller and become more confident versions of themselves,’ she added. 

‘For me, beauty has never been about chasing perfection, it’s about feeling like the best version of yourself.’

The wedding is set for June 2027 in Tuscany, Italy, and her transformation is already well underway. 

Voight explained that she started by getting a series of PRF EZ Gel injections – which uses your own blood to restore volume and stimulate collagen – in an attempt to combat ‘dark circles’ under her eyes.

She has spent $3,000 on three treatments so far, with another three rounds scheduled for January 2027.

She also started using medical-grade skincare products prescribed by a dermatologist after she got engaged and gets ‘regular facials’ which ‘include dermaplaning,’ which costs $1,500 every three months totaling $9,000.

The bride-to-be has been undergoing microneedling every six weeks on her face, the top of her hands and her neck, which comes out to $350 per session. 

She has also been getting Platelet-Rich Plasma therapy – injections of a patient’s own concentrated platelets – every 12 weeks on the tops of her hands and on her neck, which costs $650 per session.

She plans to continue that schedule up until May 2027, which will total roughly $6,300 for the two treatments.

In addition, Voight got Botox and plans to get more every three months up until May 2027. Each session costs $2,000, which tacks another $10,000 onto her total.

She also got some chin and jaw filler, and has one more session scheduled for next year, which costs $4,000 total.

Voight added that she plans to get extensions added to her hair which will cost another $3,000, plus, she has a cut and color scheduled at the lavish Hair by Kellen private salon ahead of the wedding, which is $400.

She has hired a local hairstylist to do her hair during her two-day Italian wedding, which will cost her $2,700. 

Celebrity makeup artists Jessie Yarbrough and Jon Gregory will be doing her glam for the wedding, and she plans to pay $4,500 for their services.

That brings her grand total to a whopping $45,900.

She’s also considering getting lipo on her arms ahead of the wedding, which will cost $10,000, explaining: ‘I go to the gym pretty regularly but have some stubborn fat in a few places. 

‘So maybe a little lipo… but not sure when I will have downtime for that. I am pretty booked out with travel for work until next year.’

Voight insisted that her fiancé is completely supportive of her beauty treatments because he knows it ‘makes her happy,’ however, she admitted that he ‘doesn’t know how much everything costs.’

‘He is so loving and says he doesn’t think I need to do any of it, but he’s also supportive if it makes me happy,’ she gushed.

‘He doesn’t tell me how to spend my money and vice versa. I think we respect each other’s independence in that way. He doesn’t know how much everything costs because he’s not the one paying for it.’

In response to those who may judge her for spending so much on her wedding glow-up, she quipped: ‘Everyone has different priorities for how they spend their money. 

‘Some people collect cars, travel the world, renovate homes. This is something that brings me joy, and I’m fortunate enough to be able to invest in myself. 

‘I’ve worked incredibly hard to build my career and my business, and this is money that I’ve earned.

‘I don’t expect everyone to make the same choices I do, but I also don’t think I need permission to spend my own money on something that makes me feel confident.’

She also pointed out that ‘people invest in preventative healthcare all the time.’

‘I see preventative skincare and beauty treatments the same way – it’s maintenance, not a transformation,’ she added. ‘Women start losing collagen at 25.’

Ultimately, she insisted that she doesn’t spend time ‘worrying about other people’s opinions,’ stating: ‘I’m proud of the decisions I’ve made.’
